Nursery / Meithrin

Our Nursery

The Centre hosts a Local Education Authority Nursery for children aged 3 and 4 years. We offer:
  • English-medium Nursery: 40 places
  • Welsh-medium Nursery: 32 places
Children are entitled to a 2.5-hour session, either in the morning or afternoon, five days per week, starting from the term after their third birthday.
  • The English-medium Nursery provides both morning and afternoon sessions.
  • The Welsh-medium Nursery offers morning sessions only.
Please note: Nursery session allocations are determined by the Centre.
At the Centre, we are committed to supporting every child’s physical, social, creative, and intellectual development through activities that are child-centred, engaging, and fun.
Our curriculum is play-based, designed to build on each child’s interests and understanding. We believe that learning happens best when children are curious and involved, so we provide a wide range of experiences that encourage exploration and discovery.
To enrich their learning, we make full use of both indoor and outdoor facilities during all Nursery sessions, ensuring children have opportunities to learn in varied and stimulating environments.
Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and is free of charge for children attending our state nursery. This service is available during term time only.
We have a limited number of spaces in our Breakfast Club. Please be mindful that if we are at capacity, we may not be able to offer your child a place.
